Interview with Susan Eirich of Earthfire Institute Replay
I had the special opportunity to have a conversational interview with my friend Dr. Susan Eirich of Earthfire Institute where I gather folks every year for event A Walk on the Wild Side. Discover Susan’s incredible journey and mission to share the messages and voices of the animals, and why Earthfire is such a special place. You will also meet some of the wild animal ambassadors through her wonderful gift of storytelling.
If you are inspired by what you hear, I encourage you to share this interview with others. Please also sign up for Earthfire's newsletter at https://www.EarthfireInstitute.org for more stories, and perhaps make a donation to this hard-working non-profit. Thank you in advance for your support!
WHO WE ARE
Earthfire Institute
Susan B. Eirich, Ph.D., Executive Director, founded Earthfire Institute in 2000 as the result of getting to know and love seven wolf puppies. As more animals came her way needing help, her understanding and love grew to include bears, cougars, lynx, bison, deer and more.
Living with wildlife, Susan uses this unique opportunity to deepen and share her understandings of wild animals, with the goal of forging a richer relationship between these wonderful creatures and humans.
“As my awareness expanded I realized I had to do right by all Life. Falling in love deeply opens channels through which all kinds of information can flow and I saw each living being; plant, tree, animal, as a source of wonder if only I was able to connect with each on its own terms.”
A licensed psychologist, biologist and educator, Susan’s goal is to widen the circle of conversation about conservation to include the voices of all living beings.
