Bruce Frankel is a journalist, author, ghostwriter, and positive-aging advocate who—at 75, after a 2024 cardiac arrest—has returned to poetry. A former senior writer at People and national reporter for USA Today, he wrote What Should I Do With the Rest of My Life?, co-wrote World War II: History’s Greatest Conflict, and co-edited Live Smart After 50!. A past president of the Life Planning Network and co-founder of Redstring, he has stepped back from his leadership roles to write. His poetry has appeared in Los Angeles Review, Great River Review, BigCityLit, and other publications.
